BANKS

When a conditioning and ventilation system is planned to be installed in a bank one should consider both arranging of comfort conditions for personnel and securing of optimal conditions for equipment to operate properly. And if a solution of the first problem has no fundamental differences from fitting up any kind of office, the second requires special precision equipment. Trouble-free performance of this equipment has to ensure functioning of higher-level systems - that is bank information system, system of electronic payments in particular and telecommunication system.

First of all, conditioning of technological areas (northern) has to be carried out 24/7, 365 days a year and therefore error-free operation is of great importance. The slightest malfunction can cause severe financial implications.

The second peculiarity of the precision conditioning systems is control accuracy of climatic characteristics (up to 1Сº). Besides this, conventional conditioners are not intended to adjust air humidity. During their operation, air humidity decreases due to evaporator moisture condensation. Precision systems can be equipped with humidifiers of different types. Air heating function in precision conditioners is realized by means of electric heating units.

For equipment that operates constantly the most valuable feature is economy. Economy is by means of power consumption optimization due to efficient compressor and realization of mechanism for cooling with fresh air (self-cooling). This mechanism is installed in a whole lot of models of such conditioners. When a temperature sensor finds surrounding temperature low enough, the room is fed with filtered air through a gear-powered shutter, and the compressor is switched off. Owing to this mechanism dependent on the climatic conditions the annual power consumption by the system can be cut down to 50%.

Realization of remote monitoring and control is of great importance. Monitoring system allows to control the state of primary bank engineering systems, warn of possible failures in sophisticated and expensive equipment and therefore avoid contingencies.
